Track Your Stomach’s Function – Simple, Safe & Non-Invasive Diagnostic Scan

Gastric Emptying Study in Bangalore

A reliable nuclear medicine test to evaluate how quickly your stomach empties food, helping diagnose conditions like gastroparesis.

About Gastric Emptying Study

A Gastric Emptying Study is a nuclear medicine test that measures how quickly food leaves your stomach. The meal is mixed with a tiny amount of a safe radioactive tracer (Tc-99m Sulphur Colloid), and a gamma camera captures images at intervals.

It is commonly done for symptoms like bloating, early fullness, nausea, or vomiting—often associated with delayed stomach emptying (gastroparesis).
