Safe, Simple & Accurate Tests for Kidney Health
DTPA & EC Kidney Scans in Bangalore
What Are DTPA and EC Scans
99mTc-DTPA and 99mTc-EC scans are nuclear medicine tests that evaluate how well your kidneys are functioning. A small, safe amount of tracer is injected, and a gamma camera tracks how your kidneys filter and process it. These scans are painless, non-invasive, and play an important role in diagnosing kidney conditions.
Why Are These Scans Done
Tests that help accurately diagnose kidney function, detect possible blockages, and identify any signs of damage or underlying abnormalities, providing a comprehensive assessment of overall kidney health.
Check Kidney Function

Find Blockages
Detect if anything is blocking the normal flow of urine, such as kidney stones.
Check Blood Flow to Kidneys
Helps in cases like high blood pressure, diabetes, or kidney infections.
Look for Scarring or Damage
Useful if there’s been a long-term infection or medicine-related kidney damage.
